Welcome to my creative journey. As a full-time studio artist, I create original works that explore beauty, light, and storytelling through a range of mediums, including watercolor, ink, acrylics, and charcoal. My background began with a fine art degree in graphic design and marketing, followed by 17 years as a professional designer, where I refined both my technical skill and artistic voice.

My path eventually led me to teaching, where I spent 25 years nurturing creativity in students from grades 1–8. Guiding young artists—many of whom earned state and national recognition—remains one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. I also had the privilege of teaching art education at the university level for two years.

Today, I devote myself fully to my studio practice, creating work that invites connection, captures fleeting moments, and tells a story beyond the surface.

I also offer fine art classes for adults (16+) at ArtCrafters in Dayton, Tennessee. Held the first full week of each month at noon, these sessions provide a welcoming space to explore creativity—Mondays focus on foundational drawing, Thursdays on watercolor techniques, and Saturdays on acrylic painting. All skill levels are welcome.
