Welcome to my world of creativity. As a full-time studio artist, I pour my passion into creating unique works of art using a variety of mediums, from watercolor and ink to acrylics and charcoal. My journey has been an incredible one—starting with a fine art degree in graphic design and marketing, followed by 17 years as a graphic designer for both a printing company and a prominent marketing firm in Chattanooga.

Later, I discovered my calling in teaching and spent 25 wonderful years inspiring young artists in grades 1 through 8. Along the way, my students achieved numerous state and national awards, which was such a rewarding experience. I also had the privilege of teaching art education at a private university for two years. Now, I’ve embraced this exciting chapter as a full-time studio artist, dedicating my time to creating art that captivates, inspires, and tells a story.

I offer engaging fine art lessons at ArtCrafters in Dayton, TN, for adult (16yrs.+) students. These art classes are taught during the first full week of each month, starting at noon. Mondays feature basic drawing techniques, focusing on a different subject each month to spark creativity. On Thursdays, join us for step-by-step watercolor instruction, exploring a diverse range of techniques and subject matters. Saturdays are dedicated to acrylic painting, where participants create a finished piece—whether it's a landscape, animal, or still life. These classes welcome all skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners, offering something for everyone to enjoy and grow their artistic abilities.
